STITCHED WITH STYLE EFFORTS TO ENSURE STUDENT AND FACULTY SAFETY DURING THE PANDEMIC

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19), identified in December 2019, has become a major outbreak and has recently spread rapidly across the United States, impacting life and society in many ways. STITCHED WITH STYLE is engaged in an emergency response effort to address the impact that COVID-19 is having on its students and our organization. Our efforts include the following policies:

  • Mandatory masks for both employees and students

  • Implementing social distancing practices with all seating spread 6-ft apart

  • More sanitizer and hand-washing stations within our studio space

  • All entry-ways, furniture and equipment on our premises will be thoroughly sanitized on a daily basis

  • Class size will be limited to half the capacity

  • Mandatory stay-at-home order for any students who are sick in any form (with the option for virtual classes to resume enrollment)

Come celebrate your special occasion at Stitched With Style. From birthdays, bridal showers, Girls Night Out, to corporate events- we’ve got you covered! 

All party packages include a sewing lesson, so no experience is required. Stitched With Style will teach you the skills you need to complete your chosen project. Each party can be tailored to suit your needs and the skill levels of the group. 

TEEN SEWING SERIES (Ages 14-17)

"STITCHED WITH STYLE" Is excited to announce we are offering a teen sewing series. The goal of the program is to effectively teach sewing disciplines in order to build youth's self-confidence, explore their own creativity, learn entrepreneurial skills, and ultimately assist them to become economically self-sufficient. With (TBD) total sewing hours you will gain complete confidence on the sewing machine, learn the fundamentals of fashion, and learn to read and understand commercial/ PDF patterns.

UPCYCLE FASHION SEWING

Lets promote sustainable fashion by learning to revive pieces from your current wardrobe! "Stitched With Style" will offer demos and show you how to alter an item you've brought in. We will give you step-by-step instruction on simple techniques you'll be able to use in enhancing all your future tailoring projects. Students can choose to add distressing techniques, additional fabric, fringe, trim, and much more. 

Skill Requirements: This is a beginner garment sewing workshop; you do not need to have any experience sewing clothing, but you must have basic machine-sewing skills. Our Sewing 101 class (or equivalent) is a prerequisite for this class.
