New Class Alert! We’ve created a new class to meet the needs of our students who want to finish up their sewing projects.
Join our beginner intermediate level clothing class for sewist, and learn to read + understand commercial sewing patterns, measuring your body, cut and sew execution. Curriculum is based on your individual needs. This is a great series for students interested in a bi weekly program to strengthen their skills.
Skill Requirements: This is intermediate garment sewing workshop; you do not need to have any experience sewing clothing, but you must have basic machine-sewing skills. Intermediate/ Advanced students are welcome to join as an open studio opportunity.

Join this unisex workshop and create your very own “Hooded Sweatshirt” a comfy fashion must have this season! Lets sew together and enjoy the company of fellow sewcialist!!!
You'll learn how to:
Measure the body accurately to create a perfect fit
Work from a commercial, including size selection, deciphering instructions, cutting from paper pattern pieces, and more
Understand garment sewing basics such as proper fabric prep, pinning, cutting, and troubleshooting
Work with knit fabrics

If you know your way around a sewing machine and are ready to tackle truly tailored garments, this is the class for you!!! The Blazer, has been a wardrobe staple for years in both men and women's closets. While this class is intended for advanced sewers, even intermediates will come away with a better understanding of the craft and a project to continue to practice and perfect. Sew a flawlessly finished wardrobe staple and add finesse to your skills!

Calling all tailors & seamstresses! If you know your way around a sewing machine and are ready to tackle truly tailored garments, this is the class for you!!! Our instructor Jamila Madyun leads you through the creation of the classic dress shirt, from layout and cut out to topstitching. DALLAS VINTAGE DUFFLE (TWO DAY WORKSHOP)
Sew this vintage-inspired duffel bag and head out for an adventure! Includes handles as well as an adjustable cross-body strap. A little piping adds a classic, authentic look. An exterior pocket keeps all your small items nearby, and also features an interior zippered pocket. Instructions are included to make your own handles and strap, or you can simply use webbing. Choose from 3 sizes.

open studio sewing workshop
It’s time to complete all of your unfinished projects! Start a new project with the assistance of an expert instructor!
Join "Stitched With Style" in a casual creative setting for our open studio sewing session. Choose any new or unfinished project you would like to get personal assistance with from our expert instructor. Students work on a wide range of projects of their choice, including sewing garments, making alterations, creating slipcovers, pillows, or just a specific sewing technique… anything goes. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced sewers. Please make sure to bring all of the supplies you need to complete your project.
